Company

hirify.global develops next-generation SSD products and manufacturing processes.

What you will do

  • Perform advanced mechanical simulations using ANSYS, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools, analyzing stress, strain, deformation, fatigue, and failure mechanisms.
  • Evaluate SSD components, assemblies, semiconductor packaging, and solder joints under thermal, environmental, and operational conditions.
  • Develop simulation workflows, identify design risks during rework and disassembly, and translate results into design and process improvements.
  • Define SSD manufacturing process flows, tooling, equipment configurations, recipes, and parameters for high-volume manufacturing transfer.
  • Lead process development, characterization, qualification, and new product introduction activities.
  • Develop rework techniques for PCBA component replacement and product disassembly, including risk assessments and process controls.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering preferred; a bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree or 5 years with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in mechanical simulation and analysis, process development, NPI, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with ANSYS, SolidWorks, or similar simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, component and assembly behavior, manufacturing process integration, and rework or failure analysis in electronic assemblies.
  • Familiarity with mechanical DFM/DFA principles, statistical analysis, and process control, plus strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, consumer devices, automotive, or precision manufacturing.
  • Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time position within the Global Operations department.
  • Work involves collaboration with design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, ODM, and supplier teams.
  • Fast-paced, global engineering environment focused on scalable and reliable high-volume manufacturing.
