Product Repair Technician I

Location: Jefferson, Wisconsin, USA; onsite. Hours: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools, along with electrical and mechanical diagnostic equipment.
• Identify required parts and materials, complete repairs to quality standards, and escalate product issues appropriately.
• Clean repaired units, perform cosmetic paint touch-ups, and package repaired units and accessories.
• Maintain accurate repair reports, respond to communications, and participate in the department’s 5S program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three months of experience repairing mechanical products in a manufacturing environment.
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate PC skills, including ERP systems, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to perform basic reading, math, manufacturing assembly, and testing tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
