Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Conduct first-part, in-process, final, visual, and incoming inspections of parts and assemblies.
• Verify dimensions, appearance, product reliability, traceability, and conformance with drawings, router specifications, and quality plans.
• Perform quality tests using calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators, manual CMM equipment, and other precision measurement tools.
• Maintain quality records and employee and company tool calibration schedules.
• Initiate nonconformance, material review, and corrective action records, and request corrections to routers and prints.
• Participate in problem-solving activities and internal audits while working across multiple quality areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of previous inspection experience.
• Experience using basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gage pins, OGP, or manual CMM equipment.
• Experience reading blueprints and applying basic shop mathematics.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills, with strong visual attention, reasoning, and judgment.
• Ability to work onsite in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Inspection experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
