A & T Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom

hirify.global designs complex, often bespoke mechanical products for the aerospace industry, including flight-critical systems.

What you will do

• Assemble and test flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy.
• Inspect component parts using micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment.
• Work from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
• Complete quality audits and take responsibility for assigned parts of the assembly and test process.
• Release repaired actuators to service when requirements are met.

Requirements

• Apprentice-trained or qualified to an equivalent level, ideally in mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in an engineering or manufacturing role; aerospace or a related industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow different set procedures.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained.
