Assembly Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Prepare, assemble, and quality-check products according to drawings, specifications, procedures, and customer requirements.
• Operate knife skive, saw, notching, manual, semi-automated, and automated machinery.
• Perform spring cutting, welding, silicone filling, manual deburring, and other defined manufacturing operations.
• Complete production records and enter part counts and first-piece inspection data in SAP.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with ISO 9001 and Health and Safety at Work Act requirements.
• Participate in job rotation, team training, Lean / Six Sigma, and process improvement activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or secondary school qualification.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform small-part assembly with a high degree of dexterity and demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings, assembly procedures, bills of materials, and routings.
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload, work independently, solve basic problems, and collaborate effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
