What you will do
- Serve retail banking customers by completing consumer banking requests and traditional teller transactions.
- Promote bank products and services through lead follow-up, outbound calling, customer interactions, selling, and cross-selling.
- Identify customer needs and convert transactions into qualified sales or referral leads.
- Maintain customer, applicant, and referral data and manage the lifecycle of new and existing relationships.
- Support branch sales activity, including sales huddles, workflow monitoring, and measurement of results.
- Perform branch operations such as opening and closing the office, scheduling work, managing supplies and vault cash, and following risk and compliance procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of job-related experience, preferably in a related position.
- Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software, including basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and intermediate Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, consumer products, and services, along with sales and customer service skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided. A Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry identifier is preferred and will be required.
