Multi-Platform Producer

Location: Denver, Colorado, at 100 E. Speer Blvd

Salary: $25–$28.50 per hour, based on experience

hirify.global operates KDVR/KWGN news stations and produces television, digital, streaming, and social media news content.

What you will do

• Monitor news sources, tips, and internal resources to identify breaking, exclusive, and trending stories.
• Research, verify, interview, and write original news stories for television and digital platforms.
• Create and distribute news content for television, streaming newscasts, websites, apps, social media, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Produce breaking-news alerts, on-air tickers, digital articles, television scripts, social graphics, photographs, and videos.
• Edit and clip video content for use across multiple platforms.
• Use audience analytics and performance indicators to improve future content decisions.

Requirements

• At least two years of journalism experience, including television news and/or digital news content.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong writing skills for both digital and broadcast media, with working knowledge of AP Style.
• Ability to research, interview, make fast decisions, multitask, and respond effectively to breaking news.
• Clear communication, organization, initiative, attention to detail, and adaptability.
• Schedule flexibility, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and shift-team work.

Nice to have

• Experience with severe weather coverage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and AP ENPS.
