Digital Content Producer/MMJ

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado, United States; onsite

Salary: $15.80 per hour, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Publish at least 10 content items per shift.
• Create local hard-news stories for the website, mobile app, and broadcast.
• Write and publish engaging copy, video, and other digital content to drive web traffic.
• Shoot and edit video for news reports.
• Review other MMJs’ copy and correct style, grammar, punctuation, and formatting issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to ad lib when required.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Flexibility to work any shift.
