EEG Technician - Respiratory Therapy - Per Diem

What you will do

• Perform EEG testing for inpatient and outpatient populations according to physician orders, schedules, competencies, and protocols.
• Coordinate testing with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and families across all age groups.
• Document procedures, report adverse reactions, prepare technical findings, and transmit reports to neurology for interpretation.
• Evaluate equipment needs, support purchasing decisions, and ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• Provide testing independently for extended periods with limited supervision.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved AMA program or documented on-the-job training.
• Annual completion of all major competency verifications.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience working with adults, children, and neonates; a clinical rotation with a reference may substitute for neonate experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
