Respiratory Therapist - Cardiopulmonary Services - Per Diem

Location: 603 S Chestnut St, Ellensburg, Washington, USA

Wage: CRT $30.29–$46.06 per hour; RRT $33.21–$48.98 per hour. An additional 15% premium may be available in lieu of benefits.

What you will do

• Provide cardiopulmonary services to hospital patients and outpatients.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy professionals.
• Conduct non-invasive cardiac and respiratory studies and tests.
• Apply advanced assessment and practitioner skills in complex patient care situations.
• Coordinate and conduct assigned special projects.
• Assist nursing staff with short-term relief during periods of high utilization.

Requirements

• Registry with the National Board for Respiratory Care as an RRT or CRT.
• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Maintain ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification within six months of hire.
• Ability to provide advanced respiratory care and assess complex patient situations.

Nice to have

• Experience or education supporting group and team relationships.
• Adult and pediatric acute respiratory care experience.
• Tertiary-level or geriatric respiratory care experience.
