What you will do
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site's EHS management system.
- Embed EHS governance, risk assessments, and operational controls into manufacturing, projects, maintenance, and change management.
- Lead workplace inspections, compliance reviews, and internal and external EHS audits, including corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs.
- Develop EHS training, awareness campaigns, emergency response plans, fire protection activities, and safety culture initiatives.
- Oversee environmental protection, pollution prevention, resource efficiency, energy-saving programs, KPI reporting, and EHS team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- More than 10 years of EHS experience, including at least 5 years leading teams or managing people in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
- Certified Safety Engineer certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, management systems, compliance requirements, and audit methodologies.
- Proven experience with EHS audits, management reviews, incident investigations, and continuous improvement programs.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital workplace tools is also expected.
