EHS Manager

Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China; onsite

What you will do

• Lead the EH&S management system for the Suzhou Surgery, Global Services, and R&D site.
• Provide technical EH&S consultation and ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson standards and local regulations.
• Deploy process safety, fall prevention, machine safety, permit system, and confined-space programs.
• Lead ISO 14001 implementation, corrective and preventive action completion, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Support project safety design and acceptance assessments under the “three-simultaneity” requirement.
• Build EH&S capabilities across high-potential talent, Asia-Pacific safety teams, and innovation teams.

Requirements

• Experience in environmental health and safety management, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Ability to implement EH&S management systems and ISO 14001 programs.
• Knowledge of process safety, fall prevention, machine safety, permit systems, and confined-space safety.
• Experience coordinating internal and external audits, self-assessments, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Ability to provide safety technical support, communicate requirements, and develop others.
• Ability to work onsite in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.
