Senior Product Manager – OMAX Waterjet

Location: Onsite in Kent, Washington, United States. Relocation assistance is available. Travel: 20–25% domestic and international.

Salary: $132,061–$220,103 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Own product strategy, in-market performance, long-term profitability, and roadmaps for an assigned OMAX waterjet portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional new product introduction from early concept through commercialization.
• Define product requirements, value propositions, and user experience needs using customer research, Voice of Customer, and user-centered design.
• Manage pricing, launch planning, market validation, lifecycle decisions, product quality, customer satisfaction, and end-of-life support.
• Optimize revenue, gross margin, costs, product mix, performance, and line extensions through financial and market analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, operations, quality, service, finance, training, and channel partners; present portfolio performance and strategic decisions to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience or equivalent experience in product strategy, engineering, marketing, sales, or business leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience managing technical products or complex systems in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Strong business acumen in pricing, financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development.
• Ability to lead without authority, align engineering, operations, and commercial teams, and translate customer needs into product requirements.
• Strong communication, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial manufacturing, industrial equipment, robotics, automation, automotive, machining, or another technical domain.
• Experience with cloud-connected embedded systems, hardware, capital equipment, or electromechanical systems.
• Engineering or technical degree, MBA, or advanced business training.
• Familiarity with Voice of Customer, design thinking, and lean product development.
