Biorepository Site Technician (Located in Princeton, NJ)

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, verify, and quality-control clinical and preclinical samples and shipments.
• Coordinate shipment triage across R&D departments and vendors while maintaining chain of custody and sample integrity.
• Manage freezer defrosting, cleaning, sample destruction where permitted, and inventory returns.
• Enter and maintain sample data in Watson LIMS, POLARIS, LabMatrix, REES, and other applicable systems.
• Support issue resolution, documentation, and tracking of sample and manifest discrepancies.
• Serve as a REES on-call technician for at least one week per month and support temperature-excursion response.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience handling, receiving, storing, or destroying preclinical and clinical samples preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work with liquid nitrogen after appropriate training.
• Ability to work safely with radioactive and potentially infectious materials and follow applicable handling, shipping, disposal, and universal-precaution procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
