Machinist / Fabricator

What you will do

• Perform complex machining and assembly operations to production standards.
• Set up, program, and operate milling, lathe, punch press, drill press, grinder, shear, saw, and related equipment.
• Manufacture and repair chassis, racks, consoles, brackets, terminal boards, panels, sheet-metal components, and printed circuit boards.
• Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, operation sheets, assembly procedures, material specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Determine machine types and machining sequences, produce simple process sketches, and maintain required production data.
• Perform drilling, pinning, riveting, and assembly while meeting close tolerances, quality standards, safety rules, and company procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of directly related experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Experience with sheet-metal and aluminum repairs.
• Knowledge of shop mathematics, technical drawings, company specifications, and applicable military specifications.
• Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
