Preventative Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and address wear, misalignment, lubrication issues, and component degradation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to prevent recurring failures.
• Maintain maintenance documentation, PM schedules, and equipment history.
• Service molding machines, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and stamping equipment.
• Identify equipment reliability improvements and complete work in compliance with OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, and company safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of industrial or preventive maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems up to 480V.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance strategies, including lubrication, inspections, and condition monitoring.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, follow systematic problem-solving methods, work independently, and maintain strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with CMMS.
• Familiarity with PLCs or automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration and thermal monitoring.
• HAZWOPER or Confined Space certification.
