What you will do

• Investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying white matter injury and repair.
• Develop and apply cellular and animal models to study disease biology and evaluate therapeutic hypotheses.
• Use molecular, cellular, imaging, and OMICS approaches to identify and validate therapeutic targets.
• Analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental findings with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific meetings.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Neurobiology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline, with a strong peer-reviewed publication record.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in oligodendrocyte biology, myelination, developmental neuroscience, or related neurobiology is highly desirable.
• Experience with human iPSC culture and differentiation, primary neural cell cultures, or advanced in vitro models is preferred.
• Experience with transcriptomic and translational profiling, single-cell RNA sequencing, or other OMICS approaches is advantageous.
• Experience with molecular biology, imaging, rodent models, tissue processing, or histological analysis is beneficial.
