Senior Manager, Decision Science (AI)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Annual base salary: $120,400–$198,700, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Procure and prepare data for current and future analyses and prototypes while following coding best practices.
• Improve data quality and recommend enhancements to data assets and processes.
• Apply diagnostic, multivariate, experimental, and inferential techniques to answer business questions and assess impacts.
• Explore and propose analytical tools, techniques, and industry best practices for business problems.
• Create visualizations and communicate analytical findings and recommended actions to stakeholders.
• Build partnerships across business and functional teams, mentor less experienced analysts, and support onboarding and talent assessment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field, or four years of relevant experience in data, analytics, engineering, science, or technical analytical fields.
• At least five years of related data and analytics experience.
• Experience with experimental design, hypothesis testing, clustering, time series, causal inference, GLMs, predictive modeling, and other statistical methods.
• Advanced experience working with large-scale multidimensional data and open-source, cloud-enabled analytical programming languages.
• Python is required; experience with SQL, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, FAISS or equivalent vector databases, and NLP/LLM tooling is required or specified as core technical expertise.
• Experience leading complex projects and communicating analytical methodology and findings to stakeholders at different organizational levels.
