Materials Specialist II

Salary: $21–$31 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate the flow of raw, component, intermediate, finished, and support materials between departments according to production and shipping schedules.
• Inspect materials before and after delivery and support compliant shipments to locations outside the company.
• Maintain accurate raw-material inventories, weigh materials correctly, and minimize waste during handling.
• Create and maintain inventory records and document all material movements in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Move materials between locations using reach trucks, forklifts, lift trucks, or pallet jacks as applicable.
• Follow all safety regulations and quality requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience following SOPs in a GMP environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience operating forklifts, lift trucks, and pallet jacks.
