Inventory Coordinator

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global campus in Piedmont, South Carolina, USA

Hourly wage: $19.46–$22.11

What you will do

• Organize and manage manufacturing and purchased parts inventory according to standard work.
• Coordinate replenishment and inventory-level adjustments with production schedules, supply chain, and area managers.
• Prepare and deliver part kits to internal and external customers using bills of materials and established procedures.
• Enter material issue and order transactions in Glovia and investigate discrepancies, back orders, missing items, and excess items.
• Coordinate outsourced processes such as heat treatment and zinc plating with external suppliers.
• Follow Engineering Change Notification and scrap processes, support 5S goals, improve department metrics, and mentor new team members.

Requirements

• At least one year of related experience, or six months of hirify.global material-handling or order-fulfillment experience.
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience; Glovia experience or training is preferred.
• Forklift certification must be completed as required for the work location.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for working with managers and suppliers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAD, and other business software, plus the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, apply problem-solving and root-cause-analysis techniques, and calculate fractions, percentages, and ratios.

• Physical duties may include pushing, pulling, gripping, and lifting loads up to 70 pounds at varying frequencies.
