Senior Software Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, build, own, and operate web applications and cloud services for the Identity and Access Management platform.
• Deliver service areas and features end to end, from system design through deployment and ongoing operation.
• Develop implementation, deployment pipelines, operational readiness, and quality practices across the service lifecycle.
• Monitor services through alerting, metrics, logging, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Translate product and business requirements into scalable, reliable, maintainable solutions with engineering, architecture, and product partners.
• Improve scalability, reliability, performance, usability, and security through design reviews, code reviews, and technical mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
• 7–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one statically typed language such as Go or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing strategies, and comprehensive test coverage; Jenkins is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of API design, service contracts, software architecture, cloud-native development, web application systems, and performance metrics.
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, DynamoDB, caching strategies, and high-performance, highly available services at scale.

Nice to have

• Experience using or contributing to open-source software.
• Experience with modern engineering practices and the AWS ecosystem.
