Continuous Improvement Engineer II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and coach continuous improvement initiatives using the hirify.global Manufacturing System and Lean principles.
• Implement Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Line and Cell Design, Single Piece Flow, Material Flow, Visual Management, SMED, TPM, and root cause problem solving.
• Develop, document, and implement standard work as a foundation for ongoing improvement.
• Coach and mentor facility team members and peers in Lean tools and methods.
• Support corporate continuous improvement programs, facility strategic plans, best-practice sharing, and external benchmarking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of continuous improvement or Lean Engineering experience.
• Experience implementing Lean principles in operational environments.
• Experience with flow principles, Kanban, and Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
• Experience leading projects with teams that have diverse skills.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Lean, Operations, or Supply Chain certifications.
