What you will do

• Direct event operations in line with the cafe’s operating strategy, brand standards, and business objectives.
• Maintain banquet event orders, process deposits and purchase orders, coordinate vendor pricing, and close event files for accounting.
• Develop staffing schedules and coordinate load-in, production, and event timelines with clients, operations teams, and external vendors.
• Coordinate menu changes and quantities with Kitchen Operations and support site visits and tastings with Sales Managers.
• Serve as the primary communication point during events and align internal operating areas on event expectations.
• Coordinate technical and food-and-beverage requirements for talent riders and develop custom creative events when needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of event management experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Delphi; familiarity with Amadeus is required.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, work extended show-day hours, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
