Chief Information Security Officer - Tech Risk & Cybersecurity

Location: Boadilla del Monte (Madrid), Spain; hybrid working model with some days remote and some days onsite.

What you will do

• Enable secure innovation across Data & AI initiatives while aligning with Group Cyber strategy, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
• Advise senior leadership on cyber risk, resilience, security investments, and the division’s overall security posture.
• Lead cybersecurity governance, risk oversight, compliance, executive reporting, incident management, and remediation tracking.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit, Privacy, Technology, and Business stakeholders on enterprise risk management.
• Drive implementation of cybersecurity controls, standards, and security-by-design principles throughout the data lifecycle.
• Support the secure and responsible deployment of AI capabilities while monitoring emerging cyber threats and defining mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, information security, or cyber governance.
• Experience working in large, complex, and regulated environments.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, cyber risk management, security governance, cloud security, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of Data & AI ecosystems, including analytics, machine learning, data platforms, and emerging AI technologies.
• Required: English proficiency and ability to work in the hybrid Boadilla del Monte/Madrid setup.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or an equivalent certification.
