Senior Cybersecurity Operations Engineer - ODS (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor, investigate, and correlate security events and alerts using Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, and CrowdStrike/Falcon.
• Lead and support incident response, including triage, containment, coordination, root cause analysis, and basic forensic investigation.
• Own vulnerability management activities from identification and prioritization through remediation follow-up and reporting.
• Manage DLP, firewall, and proxy tools; analyze events and improve security policies, rules, threat detection, and prevention.
• Collaborate with Cyber Threat Intelligence, CTU, and CERT-related teams to anticipate threats and improve security posture.
• Design and optimize SOAR playbooks, security automation, reporting, red team and blue team exercises, and penetration-testing initiatives.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in Security Operations Center or Security Operations environments.
• Hands-on experience with incident response, alert management, vulnerability management, and threat analysis in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, incident response, Cyber Threat Intelligence, SIEM, SOAR, networks, systems, and security architecture.
• Experience with ethical hacking or penetration testing, including Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.
• Spanish is required; English at B2–C1 level is required for meetings and international communication.
• Analytical judgment under pressure, autonomy across a broad security scope, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, consulting, or other regulated enterprise environments.
• Participation in an on-call rotation.
• Cloud security exposure in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Scripting or programming experience in Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar.
