Warehouse Inventory Specialist

What you will do

• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Update WMS/ERP records in accordance with inventory control policies.
• Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and document corrective actions.
• Partner with warehouse operations to resolve receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping errors.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and maintain inventory reports, metrics, and audit trails.
• Provide inventory accuracy feedback and training while supporting audits and physical inventories.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of warehouse inventory or cycle-counting experience.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes.
• Experience with WMS and/or ERP systems in inventory management and audit or regulated environments.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and inventory accuracy KPIs.
• Ability to walk warehouse floors, lift up to 40 lbs, operate trained warehouse equipment, work independently, and perform intermediate Excel analysis using pivot tables and lookups.
