Apartment Apprentice Technician - Amara Metrowest (Maintenance)

What you will do

• Provide service to residents and support other maintenance team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other apartment systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other maintenance technicians when needed.
• Support vendor quality management and conduct move-in and move-out inspections when required.
• Respond to emergency service requests during assigned on-call shifts.

Requirements

• At least two years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building environments.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks, and on-call shifts for at least one week per month.
• Reliable transportation for after-hours emergency service requests.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical work and move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
