Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

Location: Onsite at Bay Apartments in San Diego, California, USA

Salary: $23.00–$24.00 per hour, plus monthly customer service satisfaction bonuses of up to $250.

What you will do

• Provide service to residents and support other maintenance team members.
• Complete basic apartment turns and prepare units for new residents.
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, appliances, and other apartment systems.
• Provide technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians when needed.
• Assist with vendor quality management and move-in/move-out inspections.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in facilities or building maintenance.
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades, such as plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, or carpentry.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, seven-day work weeks, and on-call shifts of at least one week per month.
• Reliable transportation for after-hours emergency service requests while on call.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical work and move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
