2027 Summer Intern - Portfolio Management - Private Strategies Analyst, London

Location: London, United Kingdom. The 10-week internship runs from early June to mid-August, and interns are expected to be available for the full program. A transition bonus supports relocation to one of the office locations.

What you will do

• Identify operational opportunities and challenges in alternative credit and private strategy investments.
• Work with associates and Portfolio Managers to evaluate investment performance and alternative paths for underperforming positions.
• Build financial models and conduct qualitative analysis of investments.
• Monitor portfolio positions throughout the summer and identify challenges requiring attention.
• Research investment trends, opportunities, and risks across private credit and related markets.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• On track to achieve a minimum of 2:1 from an accredited university.
• Business proficiency in English.
• Strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, investment finance, and business operations.
• Experience or skills in research and basic financial modeling.
• Strong judgment, communication, teamwork, work ethic, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools in academic or professional projects to solve problems and improve outcomes.
