Trainee Investment Manager

What you will do

• Prepare client reviews, investment proposals, suitability letters, and suitability affirmations.
• Support portfolio construction, portfolio management, and client servicing activities.
• Work alongside Investment Managers, advisers, senior colleagues, and clients.
• Monitor risk systems and ensure sufficient liquidity for income payments and charges.
• Progress toward portfolio implementation, rebalancing, and raising monies as qualifications and experience develop.

Requirements

• Intellectual curiosity about financial markets, economics, investments, and wealth management.
• Proactive ownership, initiative, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Strong client focus, communication skills, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Commitment to pursuing professional industry qualifications.
• Good Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Experience in investment management, financial services, or a similar Investment Administrator or Trainee Investment Manager role is beneficial but not essential.

Nice to have

• Industry qualifications at Level 4 or completed or started industry examinations.
• Experience in a similar wealth or investment management role.
• Full driving licence.
