Associate - IG Credit (Financials)

What you will do

• Support all stages of investment underwriting and portfolio management across investment-grade funds and liquid and illiquid mandates.
• Support the Principal in covering corporate investments, particularly within the insurance sector.
• Participate in deal teams originating and underwriting complex private transactions.
• Build financial models, perform quantitative analysis and industry research, and monitor investments on an ongoing basis.
• Analyse credit across multiple industries and sectors in partnership with the broader hirify.global Credit ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a buy-side or sell-side financial markets role; M&A or equity research experience is preferred.
• Multi-year exposure to the insurance sector, including complex modelling and projections, is preferred.
• Master’s degree with an exceptional academic record; an undergraduate degree in actuarial science is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust interpersonal skills for communicating with external counterparties and managing internal stakeholders across the Credit ecosystem and broader investment platform.
• Ability to work effectively in a rigorous, fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage competing priorities across multiple projects, transactions, and workstreams.
