Associate, Enterprise Risk Management

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement. Up to 18 remote workdays per quarter are available with manager approval.

Base salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, plus a discretionary annual bonus and potential long-term rewards.

What you will do

• Maintain enterprise and operational risk frameworks aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate the Risk and Control Self-Assessment process.
• Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies and action plans with cross-functional teams.
• Support incident management through risk event triage.
• Use AI to enhance risk analytics.
• Provide training and support on risk management approaches.

Requirements

• Background in enterprise risk management or a related area.
• Understanding of financial services operational risks, controls, and processes.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and build relationships with internal and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems.
• 5–8 years of experience in enterprise risk management or a similar role preferred. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing risk management frameworks and facilitating RCSA processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow or a similar GRC tool.
