Sr. Risk Management Manager, Global ERM

Location: Hybrid role based in the Atlanta, GA office; at least 3 days per week in the office. Travel required 5–10% of the time.

Salary: $127,300–$204,100 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the risk business partnership with the Data Privacy Office and extend risk coverage to additional hirify.global organizations.
• Lead the ERM program, including Risk and Control Self-Assessments, control testing, risk assessments, and deep dives.
• Identify risks and challenge the design and operating effectiveness of controls across data privacy and business processes.
• Provide risk advice to process owners and senior stakeholders while strengthening risk culture and partnerships.
• Develop aggregate risk reporting, monitor risk-record data quality, and communicate enterprise risk insights.
• Update ERM frameworks and system execution requirements in partnership with technology teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or qualifying experience with an advanced degree or PhD; preferred profile includes 9+ years with a bachelor's degree.
• Extensive experience evaluating and managing enterprise and operational risk in a regulated environment, preferably financial services or payments.
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with data privacy requirements and operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with risk appetite, risk assessment, scoring, mitigation, acceptance, control testing, and complex operational processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, stakeholder-influence, and process-improvement skills in a global matrix organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and IBM OpenPages.

Nice to have

• Professional privacy certification such as IAPP CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or ISACA CDPSE.
• Knowledge of GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, PIPL, or the Australian Privacy Act.
• Understanding of the payments industry, payment products, financial services, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience applying artificial intelligence and building AI capabilities relevant to risk management.
