R&D Pathfinding Intern (Semiconductor)

hirify.global is a young startup born from ETH Zurich developing contamination-control technology for the semiconductor industry.

What you will do

• Generate proof-of-concept data for R&D pathfinding activities.
• Design and conduct experiments using the company’s experimental setup.
• Organize, analyze, and interpret experimental data to extract actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine methodologies and improve processes.

Requirements

• University degree, ideally a Master’s degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in a clean room environment is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal, is required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Python coding skills.
