What you will do

• Test, optimize, and validate novel markers for multiplex immunofluorescent staining of tissue samples.
• Investigate innovative spatial multi-omics assays on hirify.global Spatial microfluidic platforms.
• Develop expertise in in situ protein and RNA detection methodologies and the biological background of target markers.
• Acquire, process, and analyze images and report results concisely.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of spatial instruments and software.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary hardware and software engineers and researchers.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or a similar field, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years of industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with spatial proteomics or transcriptomic assays for histological samples is required.
• Experience with IHC, IF, in situ hybridization, in situ sequencing, or similar techniques.
• Critical thinking, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience handling microfluidic devices and fluorescent microscopes.
• Knowledge of image processing and data analysis.
