Route-Scouting Expert & Process Development Chemist

What you will do

• Identify and assess synthetic routes, from established chemistry to innovative catalytic methodologies.
• Transfer safe, economically viable, and industrially suitable processes from laboratory to pilot and production scales.
• Manage process development and industrialization projects end to end.
• Review scientific publications and patents, and participate in scientific seminars and meetings.
• Lead collaborations with academic and industrial partners and communicate project results through technical reports and presentations.
• Lead a team of 1–2 laboratory technicians and contribute to continuous EHS improvement.

Requirements

• PhD in synthetic organic chemistry with proven expertise in route scouting.
• Good written and oral English skills.
• Open-minded, innovative, collaborative, and self-driven approach to process development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to work in Geneva, Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Several years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of French; willingness to learn French is required.
