Engineer – Process Engineering (Chemical Synthesis API Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Serve as the process equipment system owner for the Chemical Synthesis API Manufacturing Facility.
• Provide process engineering expertise to support safe, compliant, and sustained manufacturing operations.
• Investigate and troubleshoot process equipment issues and recommend corrective, preventive, and improvement actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, automation, quality, validation, and process development stakeholders.
• Support equipment design reviews, commissioning, qualification, FAT, SAT, PSSR, and facility modifications.
• Analyze equipment performance and assess predictive technologies to improve reliability, productivity, efficiency, and capacity.

Requirements

• Master’s degree; or bachelor’s degree with 2 years of directly related experience; or associate’s degree with 4 years of experience; or high school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience.
• Experience in a process engineering team within chemical synthesis API manufacturing.
• Expertise in at least two areas such as equipment design, operation, maintenance, automation, process engineering, project management, or validation.
• Problem-solving skills based on scientific and engineering theory, calculations, and creative hypothesis development.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Medical requirements for the job scope must be fulfilled; the company covers related medical check expenses.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of high-potency API processes and equipment such as glass-lined reactors, filter dryers, isolators, TCU, and scrubbers.
• Project management experience including schedule and cost development, facilitation, completion, and follow-up.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and lean maintenance practices.
