Process Support Engineer (Advanced Packaging)

Location: Customer sites across Singapore; daily on-site presence required

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop leading-edge semiconductor processes, including advanced packaging applications.
• Design hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze process data statistically, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues, perform root cause analyses, and improve tool performance, uptime, and yield.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders while communicating technical findings and solutions.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues, liaise between customers and the business unit, and lead small projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• More than 2 years of experience in semiconductor processes; hybrid bonding or advanced packaging experience is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain sensitive information and build consensus.
• Ability to travel to various customer sites as required.
• Work at customer sites across Singapore is required.
