Process Development Associate II (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Conduct downstream drug substance process development experiments in a pilot plant laboratory.
• Prepare solutions and perform chromatography, tangential flow filtration, clarification, and normal filtration operations.
• Collect samples and execute basic analyses, including concentration, pH, and conductivity testing.
• Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot unexpected results, and contribute to technical documents and client presentations.
• Evaluate and implement new downstream technologies to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks, training compliance, chemical and hazardous waste handling, laboratory operations, and safety standards.

Requirements

• B.S. degree with at least 2 years of experience, or an M.S. degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-service focus.
• Ability to meet strict client deadlines and work flexible hours to support downstream processes.
• Knowledge of GMPs and regulations for biotechnology-derived products is preferred.
