What you will do

  • Plan and perform routine analytical laboratory and pilot-plant activities, generating precise, reliable, and reproducible results.
  • Document experimental activities and results in GMP-compliant electronic data systems.
  • Analyze and critique data, identify deviations, and place results in the appropriate scientific context using relevant literature.
  • Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation and learn new techniques for project-specific requirements.
  • Apply multiple analytical techniques and modify protocols as research and development needs change.
  • Collaborate with Analytical R&D, Pre-Clinical Safety, Process Chemistry, Process Engineering, Drug Product Development, Quality Assurance, and CMC-Regulatory partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or an equivalent field with typically 3 or more years of experience, or a master’s degree with no additional experience required.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography and/or spectroscopy.
  • Technical proficiency in quantitative and instrumental analysis.
  • Strong experimental precision, data interpretation, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow safety, controlled-material handling, code-of-conduct, and applicable GxP requirements.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
