Senior Business Analyst - T&IO Solutions (Asset Management)

What you will do

• Analyse and design end-to-end operating model impacts for product launches, maintenance, enhancements, closures, and other complex transition events.
• Translate high-level operating model requirements into detailed designs and viable support models for mandates and funds.
• Coordinate with Investment Operations, Investment teams, Risk, Compliance, Technology, clients, fund managers, custodians, and third-party administrators.
• Complete operational readiness, configuration, handover, testing, and process implementation activities for vanilla and complex product events.
• Configure and maintain internal workflow tools, including users, tasks, SLAs, dependencies, static data, and reference data.
• Contribute to process standardisation, continuous improvement, risk and controls updates, and informal mentoring of less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• End-to-end understanding of the asset management operating model, investment products, instrument types, and client requirements.
• Experience designing operating models and change initiatives as a business analyst or subject matter expert.
• Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, derivatives, and money markets, including public and private asset classes.
• Logical and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to work from high-level solutions down to detailed process design.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation, planning, communication, and prioritisation skills.
• Awareness of scalability, operational risk, regulatory compliance, and appropriate risk mitigation approaches.

Nice to have

• Experience with insurance, reinsurance, annuity, or liability-driven products.
• Experience with BRS Aladdin and outsourced services used in asset management.
• Awareness of ESG principles and their practical implications for fund management.
• Experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
