Commissioning Lead Engineer - FGT (Flue Gas Treatment)

What you will do

• Lead commissioning activities for the flue gas treatment area in accordance with contracts, approved drawings, standards, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Review RAMS against HSEQ requirements and ensure safe execution, including stopping work when safety may be compromised.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on site, coordinating their work with other project activities and required materials.
• Coordinate with the Commissioning Manager, Site Manager, engineering, erection supervision, HSE, commercial teams, third-party authorities, and external bodies.
• Complete functional tests, maintain PIRS records, and document commissioning quality-assurance activities.
• Report progress and personnel numbers, keep management informed, and provide lessons learned for current and future projects.

Requirements

• Experience as a mechanical or process engineer.
• Experience commissioning power waste-to-energy plants.
• Leadership experience in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management, including knowledge of relevant HSEQ legal requirements.
• Experience with LOTO and permit-to-work systems.
• Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC) or equivalent.
• Good command of English is required.
