Lead Design Engineer (Material & Corrosion)

What you will do

• Coordinate materials and corrosion engineering execution with other discipline leads.
• Lead the engineering activities of the discipline and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Manage and guide discipline teams, external designers, and consultants.
• Collaborate with the client, including ADNOC counterparts, throughout project execution.
• Review engineering work covering basic and detailed design through commissioning and startup.

Requirements

• BE or equivalent degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects and detailed engineering.
• Strong technical competence in basic and detailed engineering from feasibility through plant commissioning and startup.
• Experience with relevant commercial Oil & Gas engineering software and international codes, standards, guidelines, and recommendations.
• Excellent written and oral English, strong leadership and project management skills, and advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in international, multicultural, team-oriented environments and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with local and international environmental regulatory requirements and local environmental laws.
• Previous exposure to international engineering environments.
