What you will do

• Coordinate the permit-to-work process for daily site activities.
• Review permit applications, job safety analyses and risk assessments, method statements, and work scopes.
• Ensure permits are prepared, authorized, displayed, tracked, extended, and closed correctly.
• Coordinate with permit holders, area and issuing authorities, operations, HSE, and construction teams.
• Verify isolations, gas testing, barricading, PPE, and other permit controls, including SIMOPS coordination.
• Conduct site checks, support safety briefings and audits, maintain PTW records, and suspend unsafe work when necessary.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in permit coordination or PTW activities within oil and gas, petrochemical, EPC, or industrial projects.
• Diploma/ITI or bachelor's qualification in engineering, HSE, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of PTW, JSA/RA, LOTO, isolation, gas testing, and SIMOPS.
• Familiarity with hot work, confined space, excavation, lifting, electrical, and mechanical work permits.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation, and computer skills.
• Work is based at the Abu Dhabi project site.

Nice to have

• ADNOC, UAE, or GCC project experience.
• Experience in brownfield or live-plant environments.
• ADNOC/client PTW authorization or competency certification, subject to project requirements.
