M365 Engineer - Modern Workplace (Microsoft 365)

Location: Lincoln, United States; hybrid work is available for associates within 30 miles of an office

Salary: $75,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Administer and govern SharePoint Online, Microsoft Viva, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, and Copilot capabilities.
• Support collaboration sites, content management, permissions, document management, information governance, and user adoption.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver automation, workflows, reporting, digital transformation, and low-code solutions.
• Support Fabric and Power BI administration for data integration, dataflows, business intelligence, and analytics.
• Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
• Handle complex incidents, change management, security and compliance activities, documentation, knowledge transfer, and Microsoft platform roadmap evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on enterprise Microsoft 365 administration experience, including SharePoint Online governance.
• Experience with Microsoft Viva, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure services supporting Modern Workplace solutions.
• Experience with scripting and automation technologies such as PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, REST APIs, JSON, or webhooks.
• Knowledge of MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, retention policies, information governance, service health management, and operational documentation.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship and be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
