Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; the role is described as serving talent nationwide.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, test, maintain, and improve full-stack applications and services.
• Take technical ownership across the software development lifecycle with minimal oversight.
• Diagnose complex issues, resolve incidents, and improve system reliability based on lessons learned.
• Contribute to architecture discussions through design documents, system diagrams, and technical recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, partners, and cross-functional teams on integrations and technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers, lead small technical initiatives, participate in technical interviews, and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong production experience across both frontend and backend technologies.
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one area such as frontend, backend, application architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps.
• Experience with modern web applications, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and application integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and contribute to architecture decisions independently.
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentoring other engineers.
