Medical Assistant - PRN

Location: Malvern, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite at a Health Center. PRN schedule as needed to cover PTO and sick days, Monday–Friday during 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Health Center hours.

What you will do

• Interview patients and measure vital signs, including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
• Prepare treatment rooms and clean and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications and injections, perform laboratory tests, operate EKGs, and use other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations.
• Support front-desk operations by scheduling appointments, making follow-up calls, ordering medical supplies, and completing administrative tasks.

Requirements

• National Medical Assisting certification from a hirify.global-approved organization, or a certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with a completed and passed hands-on externship; fully online courses are not accepted.
• Current Basic Life Support certification with hands-on training from AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
• State Lab Certificate is required for Nevada roles only.
• CMA certification from a recognized approved certifying body is required for South Carolina roles only.
