Inventory Control Specialist - 1st Shift

Location: Richfield, Wisconsin, USA; onsite in a warehouse environment. First shift: 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Pay: $20.60/hour for Inventory Control Specialist I or $21.60/hour for Inventory Control Specialist II.

What you will do

• Track inventory, stock changes, parts, and products within a distribution warehouse.
• Locate products, identify missing inventory, and research discrepancies.
• Perform dynamic cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Use barcode scanners, computers, and radio frequency tools to update the inventory database.
• Inspect shipments, maintain records, and support warehouse continuous improvement efforts.
• Recommend process improvements to production, materials, or distribution supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or a comparable inventory-control environment.
• Ability to learn and safely operate powered equipment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.
• Effective communication and basic computer skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cycle count methodology.
• Experience performing counts and adjustments in SAP.
• Experience sending emails to other plants.
