Inventory Control Specialist

Location: On-site warehouse and production environment

Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour

hirify.global is associated with an operational manufacturing environment requiring inventory control, warehouse coordination, and production support.

What you will do

• Plan and execute cycle-counting programs covering more than 1,500 active SKUs.
• Investigate inventory variances, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Process receipts, transfers, adjustments, and withdrawals in the ERP system in real time.
• Organize warehouse and storage areas using 5S principles and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Coordinate incoming-material verification against purchase orders and update inventory records.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory while communicating material availability and shortages to production and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, accurate data entry, and general computer skills.
• Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification after hire.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to regularly stand and walk, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and work in a moderate- to high-noise environment.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
• Familiarity with 5S and lean inventory practices.
