Inventory Control Coordinator

Location: Minneapolis, MN, United States; onsite warehouse and production environment

Pay range: $18.40–$25.30 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP transactions, inventory journals, receipts, transfers, adjustments, and scrap processing.
• Pick, stage, put away, load, unload, and transport materials throughout warehouse and production areas.
• Perform cycle counts, support physical inventory activities and audits, and maintain inventory traceability.
• Investigate shortages, overages, variances, and transaction discrepancies using transaction reviews and root cause analysis.
• Verify labels, quantities, item numbers, lot and batch information, and storage conditions.
• Track inventory metrics, optimize storage locations, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience; an associate degree is preferred with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, material flow, and warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus the ability to learn ERP and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and material handling.
• Must have United States work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

• Associate degree.
• Certification and safe operation of powered pallet jacks and forklifts.
